Air Force 1 '07 LV8 "Ken Griffey Jr./Sr."
The Nike Air Force 1 Low “Ken Griffey Jr./Sr.” is a colorway of the low-top shoe that honors the baseball legacies of Ken Griffey Jr. and his father, Ken Griffey Sr. Memorably, the father-son duo briefly played together on the Seattle Mariners while the younger Griffey was in the early stages of his illustrious career. This “Ken Griffey Jr.” Air Force 1 pays homage to the era in Mariners history with baseball-inspired branding and graphics. The upper features a white leather construction. A black tumbled leather Swoosh can be found on both sides and “Nike Air Force 1” branding can be found on the black nylon tongue tag. A small teal Swoosh with yellow outlining is embroidered on the forefoot. The design features the Mariners' then-team uniform colors of blue and yellow. “24” and “30” embroidery on the lateral heel of the left and right shoe, respectively, represent the numbers worn by Griffey Jr. and Griffey Sr. with the Mariners. Additionally, “Jr.” and “Sr.” branding appears on the back of the left and right heel tabs that feature the aforementioned numbers. Baseball-inspired red stitching appears on the heel and completes the look.
