SB Dunk Low "Lunar Eclipse East"
SB Dunk Low "Lunar Eclipse East"
The Nike SB Dunk Low Pro “Lunar Eclipse East” is a rare colorway of the iconic skate shoe inspired by the phenomenon of the solar eclipse. A release from the SB Dunk’s “Black Box” era, a name given to the time period that Nike SB released Dunks in black shoeboxes, the “Lunar Eclipse” collection consists of “East” and “West” colorways. Both models feature a gradient design that mimics the effects of a lunar eclipse, which occurs when the moon moves into the earth’s shadow. The “East” displays a dark-to-light side profile while the “West” inverts the look from light-to-dark. Here, the “East'' features black tumbled leather on the perforated toe and forefoot. The color block transitions into dark grey leather on the mid-panel and light grey leather on the heel. A black leather Swoosh appears on both sides and white “Nike” embroidery dots the heel. White contrast stitching outlined the aforementioned overlays and Swoosh branding. An eclipse logo is embroidered on the lateral side of the heel. White shoelaces are layered on top of the puffy black mesh tongue. Release date: March 29, 2006.
